Crash Remodel

The craziest thing happened the other night – and I didn’t hear a thing…

I was in my backyard yesterday morning when my Mike, my next-door neighbor, asked me if I have see the new addition our neighbor up the street had made. I said I hadn’t (thinking “well, why would I have?”) right when he said “Come take a look.”

Crash Remodeling

Wow. Turns out that about 2am some drunk was so wasted that he plowed his truck into our neighbors house after he had hit another truck on the street adjacent to ours. Then the dumbass ran from the scene into a drainage culvert behing the house in an attempt to try to get away. Needless to say that the K-9 found him.

I really feel sorry for the people that live there because, in case you didn’t notice the sign, they are (were) trying to sell the house.

And I really have to hand to the emergency construction crew – they had the garage boarded up and the patio roof supported againstfalling within 5 hours after the tow truck extracted the truck out from the house.

OK, here it goes…

I thought I would start out with something dramatic, so here is something for all you arachnophobes out there.

My wife Samantha and I were watering the new flower garden one evening and out popped one of the biggest spiders I have evern seen (except of course those in pet stores or the zoo).

Mr Ackerly

Pretty cool. If anyone knows what kind of spider this is, please post – we live in the Greater Cincinnati area (Independence KY to be exact).
